Privacy and cookie policy for online visitors of INSTM Website pursuant to article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GRPD)
This privacy policy information document aims to illustrate, in a simple and transparent manner, the processing methods of Web User’s personal data, collected through INSTM Website (www.instm.it). The present document doesn't concern other sites, pages or services attainable online through links eventually published in the Site but related to external resources.

DATA PROTECTION OFFICER
INSTM has not named a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as this is not mandatory for its activities, in particular it does not carry out data treatments that, for their nature, scope and/or finality, require regular and systematic monitoring on a large scale; neither treatments , on large scale of particular categories of personal data referred to ART.9 of the GPRD or data relating to criminal convictions and offenses referred to in ART. 10 of the GRPD.
LEGAL BASIS AND TYPE OF PROCESSING
This Site processes data based on consent. With the use or consultation of this Site visitors and users explicitly approve this privacy statement and consent to the processing of their personal data in relation to the methods and purposes described below.
TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigation Data
The information collected could be the following:
- internet protocol (IP) address
- type of browser and device parameters used to connect to the site
- name of the Internet service provider (ISP)
- visit date and time
- web page of origin of the visitor (referral) and exit
- the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notations
- the method used in submitting the request to the server
- the size of the file obtained in response
- the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (this is good, error, etc.)
- other parameters related to the operating system
The aforementioned information is processed in an automated form in order to verify the correct functioning of the site as well as for security reasons (for example to block attempts to damage the Site). The data collected by the Site during its operation are kept for 30 days.
Personal Data voluntarily entered by the User
INSTM collects and processes Personal Data voluntarily provided by individual users that consist of those data collected through the sending of e-mail, the interaction with the Site’s features, the compilation of specific Forms in the “Affiliated Area” section of the Site. The data received will be used exclusively for the provision of the requested service and for institutional activities. Integrity and privacy of the personal data collected through INSTM Website are protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) with three levels of protection: cryptography, integrity of the data, authentication.
TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES
A transfer of personal data to a third country or an international organization may take place where the European Commission has decided that the third country, a territory or one or more specified sectors within that third country, or the international organization in question ensures an adequate level of protection. In case of Data transfer within the meaning of art. 46,47 or 49 (2) it may take place only if appropriate guaranties are given and if is granted access to the personal data and all information about their processing.

The staff of INSTM adequately trained to purposes and modalities of Personal Data treatment.
MANDATORY OR DISCRETIONAL NATURE OF THE CONSENT
Except what specified in chapter “Navigation Data” , the User is free to give consent or not. Consent to the processing of your data could be necessary in order to manage online requested services.
COOKIE POLICY
As is customary on all websites, this site also uses technical cookies, small text files that allow to improve the functionality of the site, to simplify navigation by automating the procedures (eg. login, site language..) and for the analysis of the site procedures. INSTM Site does not use cookies for User profiling, neither other tracking methods.
Session Cookies
Session cookies are essential for the authentication procedure in online services , and for security purposes as to prevent cyber attacks on the site. Session cookies do not contain personal data and last inside server logs only for the current session or at most for 120 minutes, after which the session ends.
Third part Cookies
Other cookies could be stored on User’s device by Google web analysis service ( Google Analytics) or by third parties like social Networks ( Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook) while connecting with their links present on INSTM Site. Third party cookies are not placed by us. We would therefore suggest to look at those third parties’ websites for information about the cookies they place and how the User can manage them. These cookies can be disabled from User’s device without consequences in INSTM Site navigation, User will need to do this via Internet browser settings. Always through browser preferences User can cancel passed cookies installed. By the way some services could be blocked if all cookies are disabled.
